Dedication will highlight Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day Observances at Mount Sinai Memorial Park in Simi Valley, 6150 Mount Sinai Drive, Simi Valley, CA 93063 and will be accompanied by first person stories of loss, rescue and survival as told by Quilt square creators and their families, and the voice of Anne Frank speaking through the Long Beach Opera Company. Hiding and Seeking: Faith and Tolerance After the Holocaust, a film by Oren Rudavsky and Menachem Daum
Jewish Genealogical Society of the Conejo Valley and Ventura County, co-sponsored with Temple Adat Elohim, to commemorate Yom Hashoah Day (by viewing a poignant holocaust story video). This event is a collaboration with P.O.V., PBS’ award-winning nonfiction film series.
No charge to attend the meeting. Anyone may join JGSCV. Annual dues are $25 for an individual/$30 for a family.
